This is a signed original woodblock print made using 2 blocks hand carved and hand pulled.

NOTE: Woodblocks are inked like a stamp for each individual print therefore slight variations may occur from print to print. This is characteristic of the process of printmaking.

I have made a series of small etchings of various Australian birds. This is a Willy Wagtail, a bird found throughout all of Australia except Tasmania. This Wagtail differs form the Wagtail I know at home, in Ireland, in that it swishes its tail from side to side, whereas the wagtails in Britain and Ireland flick their tails up and down. My boyfriend is Australian and this little bird is one of his favourites

The vinyl is long lasting and can be applied on any smooth surface such as walls, ceilings, fridges, windows, large furniture, etc. The vinyls are easily removable.
Warning: if you had the vinyl on the wall for a while, we recommend being careful removing it. You can warm up the vinyl with a hairdryer in order to soften the glue. As you may imagine, once you remove the vinyl from the wall, you will not be able to reposition or reuse it.

Available colors are: Black, White, Grey, Lime Green, Grass Green, Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Sky Blue, Night Blue, Mint, Violet and Chocolate.
The vinyls have a matte finish.

2008 original watercolor with a bit of colored pencil and ink pen on 5×7 hot pressed (smooth) 140 lb. paper. A protective sleeve and black mat mount is included with this item (with 5×7 opening to fit a standard 8×10 frame).
